Temperature

Temperature measures how warm or cold the air is and

provides insight into the thermal conditions within a space.

What is temperature?

Temperature is the measurement of how warm or cold the air is, typically expressed in degrees Celsius (°C) or Fahrenheit (°F). Indoor temperature is affected by heating and cooling systems, sunlight, occupancy and equipment, and it can vary significantly between floors, rooms and times of day. Since thermostats are often placed near windows, drafts or heat sources, they don't always reflect the conditions people actually experience. Measuring temperature helps facility teams keep spaces comfortable and spot where heating or cooling needs adjusting.

● THE WHY

Why does tempature matter?

Temperature isn't just about comfort. It affects how well people concentrate and perform, and it is one of the biggest drivers of energy use in commercial buildings.

Humidity 1 (1)

Improve occupant comfort

"Too hot" and "too cold" are among the most common complaints in any workplace. Monitoring temperature across rooms and floors gives you the data to respond to requests with confidence, resolve recurring issues and create spaces where people feel comfortable.
Co2 1

Boost focus and performance

Temperatures that are too high or too low make it harder to concentrate. Studies show that lowering classroom temperatures from 25 °C to 20 °C significantly improves student performance, and similar effects are seen in offices, making the right temperature key to productivity.
Temperature 3

Reduce energy costs

Heating and cooling account for a large share of a building's energy use. Real-time and historical temperature data helps you keep spaces within the optimal range, lower settings when buildings are empty and protect against frozen pipes, saving energy without compromising comfort.

Temperature over time

Track temperature across rooms and buildings in real time. See when spaces get too warm or too cold and follow trends over time, so your team can respond to comfort complaints with data, adjust heating and cooling, and keep spaces comfortable while saving energy.
