Corentium Pro samples indoor air through a passive diffusion chamber, using alpha spectrometry to precisely calculate the radon level. Radon is detected using silicon photodiodes to both count and measure the energy of alpha particles resulting from the decay chain of radon gas. The instrument is calibrated to reference instruments in accredited laboratories and is AARST-NRPP certified.
The standard deviation from the exact radon level is less than 7% + 5 Bq/m3 after 24 hours (US: 7% + 0.12 pCi/L) and less than 5% + 2 Bq/m3 after 7 days (US: 5% + 0.05 pCi/L)
Generate a report from your smartphone on the spot, add notes and customization and send it as a PDF to multiple email addresses with Bluetooth smart connectivity.
The advantage of the Corentium Pro is that the app, software and firmware are updated regularly. We continually improve every aspect of our devices with the ultimate goal of delivering the best professional radon measurement tool on the market.
In order to comply with the current regulations in the United States and Canada, the Corentium Pro requires a yearly calibration. Airthings supplies recommendations on where to send your Corentium Pro for calibrations and in some cases, has group discounts available.
The yearly calibration usually takes less than a week to be completed, so you can quickly get back to work.
