It enters homes through cracks in foundations and gaps such as around plumbing entry points. It is the leading cause of lung cancer among non-smokers and the second leading cause overall (US, EPA, and WHO). The EPA recommends fixing your home if the average radon level is consistently at 4 pCi/L or higher, and considering action if it is between 2 and 4 pCi/L. Because View Plus monitors radon continuously over time, it gives a more reliable picture of your exposure than a single short-term test kit. Eve Room does not measure radon.
