The best-selling original just got a smart update
Airthings was founded on the belief that every home should measure radon. We couldn't be prouder that our original Corentium Home has been the most trusted, best-selling digital radon monitor in the world since its release back in 2011. So, how could we improve on such success?
We kept the portable, battery-powered design our customers love, but now with a sleeker and more modern look. The updated interactive display means you can now get "at a glance" updates, and use the newly added indicators to quickly see if the selected value is in the "good," "fair," or "poor" range.
Bonus sensors for temperature and humidity - particularly useful for monitoring in basements or lower living areas - have also been added to help you stay more comfortable and in control.
But best of all, you can now connect it to the Airthings app via Bluetooth, unlocking powerful features to:
- Identify your home’s radon trends using dynamic graphs
- Start radon measurements in new locations, without losing previous measurements - they’re always available in the app
- Get personalized guidance about your radon levels (rather than just the numbers) and act with confidence
- Generate a radon report for your home, or export your radon data using the Airthings web dashboard

Corentium Home 2 also comes with a brand new feature: radon insights
How should I react to my radon level? …How high is too high? …Should I mitigate?
Making decisions about radon can be intimidating; it’s hard to know what’s okay and what’s not. That's why we introduced radon insights. Instead of just showing you numbers, radon insights translates your data into clear, practical advice, so you can confidently decide how to respond to your home's radon levels. The final decision is yours to make; we just make it easier to get there.
Together we’re raising awareness about radon risk
Our mission at Airthings is to educate and empower people everywhere to take control of their indoor air quality. But when it comes to radonmap.com, we couldn’t do it without you! Thanks to the many Airthings users who choose to share their radon data, our newly refreshed radonmap.com provides a clearer picture of real indoor radon levels across North America and Europe. This community-driven resource allows anyone to explore radon trends in their area and learn why measuring is the only way to know if radon is a problem in their home.
Your shared data is more than just a number. It's what makes radonmap.com possible, helping raise awareness that could protect families and save lives. From all of us at Airthings, thank you for being part of this important mission!
We're continuing to work to improve this resource, but we'd love to hear what you think of it so far.

Sharing the gift of fresh air
There's nothing better than knowing our customers trust Airthings enough to recommend us to their friends and family. So, it’s about time we made it easy to share the gift of fresh, clean and healthy air right from the Airthings app! Now, you can help those you care about breathe easier by sending them an exclusive discount on our best-selling smart monitor, View Plus.
Since launching in April 2025, thousands of our customers have already helped friends or family take that first step toward better air quality. If you haven't joined in yet, simply look for the "Refer a friend" option in the app's Settings menu and share the gift of fresh air today.
Get more from your View monitor display
You asked, and we delivered. Now you can see up to FOUR air quality readings right on your View monitor display.
This top-requested feature gives you the ability to show two extra readings on the display, making it even easier to stay in the know. And lots of our customer noticed this update - thanks, Ioannis!
...and some other improvements (great and small)
At Airthings, we're committed to making monitoring and understanding your home's air quality with our app as simple and insightful as possible. Here are a few of the updates we’ve designed to give you more control, information, and peace of mind.
A better syncing experience
While mysteries can be fun, syncing your Wave monitor with the Airthings app shouldn't be one of them. We've made the process more transparent so you can see exactly what's happening in real time. When syncing begins, the app shows you how many monitors are within range and available. It then uploads their data one by one, with progress bars keeping you informed every step of the way.
See times in your preferred format
We think the Airthings app should work the way you do, so now you can see times on graphs and other details in your preferred format, automatically matching your smartphone's settings. No more military time if your preference is for AM/PM hours (thanks for the tip, Nachos!)
Automatic updates to enhance VOC sensors
We take our customers' health and comfort seriously, so we're always looking for ways to boost our products' sensors, algorithms, and the overall user experience. We recently found a way to improve how our VOC sensor automatically calibrates itself, helping it to stay calibrated for even longer and respond more quickly to VOC changes in the room. The best part? This improvement was automatically rolled out to all Airthings smart monitors with VOC sensors over the first half of 2025, meaning no action was needed on your part.
More coming soon, so stay tuned!
There's a BIG redesign coming in the next few weeks to the app's Devices page. We don't want to give it away, but think more visual, more colorful, more information.
