The Airthings app is the perfect companion to help people take control of the air in every room of their homes

OSLO, NORWAY & LAS VEGAS, NV. - (January 5, 2023) - Take a deep breath, CES! Airthings, creators of the best-selling indoor air quality and radon monitors for homeowners, businesses and professionals, is kicking off CES 2023 by launching its new Airthings app to monitor the air quality in your whole home. As the leaders in smart indoor air quality monitoring, Airthings seeks to provide data-rich insights and personalized, actionable advice to its customers with its technology, ultimately helping them achieve peace of mind. The new Airthings app is the vehicle through which this can be accomplished, with an initial rollout during CES and many new features slated to be introduced throughout 2023 and beyond. Those attending CES 2023 will be able to experience the new app in person at Airthings Booth #8937, located in the North Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center.

Let’s Clear The Air

It’s hard to think we could make the air any clearer to understand. But we did it — and then we built it for your back pocket with the Airthings app. Different air quality issues can surface in different parts of your home, which is why it’s vital to have a holistic understanding of your air quality over time and across all of your spaces. Airthings’ dedicated team of scientists and engineers worked together with a collection of top app- developers and user experience specialists. The result? An app that coaches you through your air-quality journey — understanding your needs, tailoring your reporting and providing advice that amplifies the potential of your air for the better.

The Airthings App is easy to set up, even easier to use and features detailed graphs, color-coded air indicators and tips on how to improve your air quality. It is compatible with all Airthings devices in its View family of products, including its award-winning View Plus. Compatibility for its Wave products, such as Wave Plus and Wave Mini, will follow soon after launch, making the new Airthings app the most complete and comprehensive resource for the company’s devices. In addition to providing multi-room monitoring for those with multiple Airthings monitors, the Airthings app offers personalized insights and tips, all in a streamlined, easy-to-navigate format.

“We’re excited to kick off CES 2023 with the launch of our new Airthings app, as we recognize the immediate and valuable impact of getting clear insights into your air quality,” said Oyvind Birkenes, CEO of Airthings. “Our indoor air quality monitors make for a great addition to any home and combined with the data from our Airthings app we offer consumers everything they need to take control of their indoor environment. The average person takes over 23,000 breaths every 24 hours, so we want to make sure every breath counts!”

Monitor your entire home

Indoor air quality is affected by all kinds of pollutants—causing a range of different issues. But here’s the catch: certain problems are more likely to surface in certain parts of the home than others.
That’s why Airthings’ range of air quality monitors are each tailored for different rooms and air quality issues. For example, View Radon is ideal for basements, where high Radon levels can be most prevalent, and Wave Mini is best intended for bathrooms, where high humidity can pose a mold risk. For those seeking the most well-rounded option, the flagship View Plus is ideal for living rooms or any room where you spend the most time, as it detects both radon and particulate matter, which can spike from common pollutant sources such as candles, pets or fireplaces - especially for asthma sufferers. With multi-room monitoring through the Airthings app, anyone can take control of their indoor air quality and create a healthy, comfortable home environment.
