(Oslo, Norway, 02 December 2025) — Airthings ASA (OSE: AIRX), the global leader in indoor air quality solutions, today announced the appointment of Ivar Kroghrud as the company's new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective 1 January 2026. Kroghrud (born 1970) brings extensive experience scaling technology and SaaS companies.

Kroghrud brings extensive experience as an entrepreneur and technology leader. He co-founded and served as CEO of Questback, and since departing in 2013, has co-founded multiple software companies and served as an investor and board member/chair for several startups and growth-stage companies, including Admincontrol and Signicat. Kroghrud was also a partner at a venture capital firm. He holds a BSc from the Royal Norwegian Naval Academy and an MSc in Strategy from BI Norwegian Business School.
